The quantity toggle (-) or (+) does not activate the attendee information, which I require for each ticket purchase.
Is there a way I can remove the quantity toggle and only have the blank box to enter the ticket number?

As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

I reverted the theme back to twenty sixteen and the plus minus toggle did activate the correct response by pulling up the attendee information.
How can I resolve this issue with my current theme?

Glad to see that we have found the root of the issue.
Please also note that support for theme conflicts is limited as stated in our support policy.
However, I’d love to try to point you in the right direction.
As a first step, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:

You may also want to reach out to your theme developers to see if they have any solutions for this issue.

however is it normal that under events-settings-display I only see the date format drop down?
I am not able to complete the below directions
“Start with the Events Template Setting
Your first stop should be the Events → Settings → Display admin screen, where you should take a look at the Events template setting. By default you should be able to choose between these options:
Default Events Template
Default Page Template
You may also see other templates that are specific to your theme.So try experimenting with these template options, and remember to save your changes!”

In that case, I’d recommend reaching out to your theme developers to see if they have any solutions for how to resolve this issue.
