GuestHi Modern Tribe,
We’re using your The Events Calendar plugin and I noticed you have additional plugins available for purchase. For example, I see you have one which allows us more flexibility in searching our events. It is listed as $80, with one year of support. What does that mean? Does it mean that we need to pay $80 each year? Is it a one time cost of $80, but with one year of support? Is the extension free, but if you want support, you have to pay for it at $80 per year? I have looked all over and haven’t been able to find an answer to this.
I would like to use all of your additional plugins (at least, from what I can tell, they are all useful to us), but I would like to know whether I will have to pay for them. Additionally, I could not find the plugins in the WordPress plugin search.
Could you please clarify?
Thanks!

MemberHi Brendon,
Each plugin is a separate product and the license is for 1 year of updates and support and it has to be renewed every year to continue to receive updates and support.
We have this article explaining the details of the licenses:

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantHi,
I have recently purchase a single licence and now I find I would like to use it on another site. Can I upgrade to the 3 licences and just pay the difference.

GuestThanks, but I’m still a little confused. I MUST pay for it before I use it, or I can CHOOSE to pay and receive updates, support, and everything else? In other words, is it a free thing if I choose not to have support or updates, or do I need to pay either way?
This is where most of my confusion lies. Even after reading the page you sent me, it’s still unclear. It looks like I need to pay $80, but if I don’t need the updates or support, does it still cost me?

MemberIf you would like any of the commercial plugins you have to purchase at least a one year license. We offer no other way for you to get the plugins.
Only the the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
Is available to download without purchasing a license.
And Catherine we have this guide to upgrading licenses, which you can do from your account.
