ParticipantHi,
After I installed SSL, there are several functions on “add new event” page do not work properly anymore, such as:
1. “recurrent events” function does not working anymore
2. when choosing “use new organiser” under “organizer details”, the information boxes do not pop out; “add another organiser” also does not work
3. in “venue details”, when choosing an old venue, it still requires to repeat all the information
4. the layout of “event categories” is also differentIf I go on the unsecured website (http instead of https), all these problems are gone.
Shall I send my link in a private message in the follow-up reply?

MemberHi there Huiwen,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear this issue affects your site as well 🙁
This is a known issue we are working on right now! The fix for this should ship in the next maintenance release coming in two weeks time (if everything goes as planned). In the meantime we found the following workaround helps most of folks:
– Add define( 'FORCE_SSL_ADMIN', true ); to wp-config.php.
– Modify the site URL setting, make sure it uses https://.
– Modify the home URL setting, make sure it uses https://.Can you give that a try and let me know if it works for now?
Best,

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to inform you that we’ve just published a series of updates to our products that fixes a number of issues.
These updates should include fixes for the problems reported here, where our plugins’ scripts and stylesheets were being served over HTTP when they should’ve been served over HTTPS, or vice versa.
Learn more about this release—version 4.3.3—in the official release notes here → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-3-3-event-tickets-4-3-3-premium-plugins/
Thanks for your patience in waiting for a fix!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
