Hello, I have a problem with repeating events.
I create a new event, I set title, start date and end date (same day), start time and end time, location. I set repeat event weekly and I set until end date.
I save the event but in my calendar appear only one event.
    Why?
Thank you very much good work

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

I can help troubleshoot this with you.

Can you take a look at this setting:

Events > Settings > Display Tab > Date Format Settings > Datepicker Date Format

If that is not set to 01/15/2015 please change it to that and see if that helps.

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

I appreciate the offer to login to your site.

However, our current policy is not to accept logins or to log in to customer servers/WordPress installations.

I tested on my site and was able to create a recurring event with that information, but in English. What language are you using so I can try in that?

When you change the datepicker format did you try on a new recurring event or an existing one?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the information.

I changed to Italian and made the event with the same settings and it worked for me, so it does not look like an outright bug yet.

If you disabled all the plugins and it still did not work then it could be a cron issue.

Can you verify your WordPress Cron is enabled, it is setup in your WP-Config.php

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Disable_Cron_and_Cron_Timeout

It should be set to this or not there at all:

    define( ‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, false );

Also, can you use the WP Crontrol plugin:

    WP Crontrol

To check for these two crons are listed:

    tribe-recurrence-cron

    and

    tribe_events_pro_process_recurring_events

Can you let me know if they are in the list and the last time they ran.

If you like you can click Run Now and see if that then creates the recurring events.

Let me know how that works out.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for the information.

Sorry for the delay on this, I looked and could not find any other reports of this issue so I am not sure what is causing the issue on your site.

It appears everything is in place to work, but something is causing a conflict.

Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

And see if that can narrow down the cause of this.

Also, we will have a release candidate for the next version in a couple days. That is a stable build of the plugin and overhauls the Recurring Feature and that could resolve the issue for you. So that might be something to try to fix this.

Let me know what you find out from the conflict testing.

    Thanks

Hello I fixed in part the problem. If I use a weekly setting doesn’t work, but if I use personalize setting (in attach) the repetition run.
I hope in a new release, thank you, you are very kind.

I am glad you found a workaround for now.

We have revamped the entire recurring event process in 3.12 so it should be resolved then.

I am going to close this ticket, but if it turns out in 3.12 the issue is not fixed please let us know in a new ticket so we can resolve.

    Thanks
