Hi, we have problems with the standard events archive. When we use the short code it is all good.
We have the events PRO and the filter bar installed and active. We want to show the events and filter by category using Ajax. That doesn’t work at all on the standard events template. When we use the short code on another page template it works fine except we cannot load the filter bar there. Is there an option to load the filter bar in that custom page or can you help us with the events archive page? We are lost!
The error:
TypeError: x.bootstrapDatepicker is not a function. (In ‘x.bootstrapDatepicker(r.datepicker_opts)’, ‘x.bootstrapDatepicker’ is undefined)We already disabled bootrap from loading with the conditionals from this forum. That doesn’t work either. We also loaded several jQuery versions without succes.
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately at this time Filter Bar only displays on the default events page.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.
Thanks

Can you test a few things?
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?ย I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.ย Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard ยป Updates).ย
Then also test with your current settings for Javascript errors:
Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

Can you share which libraries you removed and why? Our plugins may need some that were removed.
Can you also share a link to the exact page where our calendar resides and the filter bar should be active?
Thanks

August 15, 2017 at 7:26 am #1335438CourtneyMemberHi Mitchell
At this point, I’d suggest a fresh install of WordPress and a fresh install of a default theme. You could do this in a folder/subdirectory on your existing site. Then install just our plugins. Please confirm if the issue persists at that time. Then begin removing the scripts you referenced: bootstrap, modernizer, jquery, google maps, etc, one at a time. Determine which of these is necessary to operate our plugins, if a conflict does arise.
Thanks

August 15, 2017 at 8:35 am #1335481CourtneyMemberHi Mitchell
The recommendation for a test site is a temporary step. Our goal is to identify if there is actually a bug in our software or if the problem is in by a theme, a plugin, or any other customizations, such as deleting libraries. If the test site functions with the libraries removed, then we know that the issue is elsewhere.
We definitely want to see your site working ASAP.
Thanks
