    Hi,
before buying the license I would like to know some details about the free version. I will try to detail my questions to be as clear as possible, apologizing for the English as translated from Italian with google.
I built my first site http://www.centrotennisperugia.it by purchasing a theme on which there was a free the events calendar free version plugin, customized and integrated to the theme with the possibility to add in the home, with the composer viewer the event module to show the events in planning and future events.

Now that I’m building another site http://www.centrotennisperugia.com with the theme DIVI, the free version does not allow me to advertise shortcuts with future events so I would like to buy the Pro license but before doing so I would have some questions:

    1) In the pro version I can disable the default page events and categories so you can create others at will and setting them as an archive of all events “past – present – future”?
    2) I saw that in the pro version there is the possibility of creating shortcodes. Can I use these for creating an archive page and in the home to advertise events scheduled to show in the carousel or slide sitle?
    3) Can I change the colors of the style by integrating the plugin with the colors of my theme?
    4) The pro version from $ 89 gives me updates and a 1 year assistance, after this period apart from the assistance, I will no longer be entitled to updates?
I look forward to your answers.
    Thank you

    Hi Giuseppe,

Thank you for your interest in our plugins!

    To answer your questions:

    1. I’m not sure I understood properly your first question, but you can create as many events page as necessary — it’s easy to do so thanks to our shortcodes.
    2. There is not an out-of-the-box way to automatically pull events into a slideshow, however you might look at Image Widget Plus to create slideshows – with this option, you would need to manually create the slides.
    3. Changing the colors will require some CSS. You might also be interested in our Category Colors plugin (it’s a free one), which would allow you to add background colors to events categories.
    4. Exactly. After 1 year, if you don’t renew your license, your Events Calendar PRO plugin will still work, but you won’t get updates and assistance anymore.

    I hope this helps,

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
