We’ve been trying to get the WooCommerce Waitlist plugin to work on maggieaustincake.com, and now Woo support is asking us to ensure that your plugin is NOT interfering before they’ll investigate further — can someone confirm? Woo’s comments copied below, followed by initial description of the problem:

    FROM WOO:
Currently, you are using the PRO version of Event Tickets, which supports WooCommerce. However, it looks like it is not compatible with WooCommerce Waitlist plugin as WooCommerce Waitlist has been tested to work with default WooCommerce products only. I would suggest you to get in touch with the developers of the plugin via their forums here just to make sure both these plugins work with each other, before we dig deeper into this.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    INTIAL COMPLAINT/CRY FOR HELP:
We have various classes with tickets issued via Woocommerce available here:

    https://maggieaustincake.com/instruction/

And have installed Waitlist so that users can sign up to be notified if a spot opens up in a sold out class. The JOIN WAITLIST button, however, never appears on those pages.

See this product, which is set to 0 currently available:
    https://maggieaustincake.com/the-art-of-flowers-classic-rose-session-2/

Settings have been changed for this product and Inventory settings at every possible level — and per the troubleshooting screenshots/tips provided on docs.woocommerce.com — but as you can see, the product listing simply says “Out of Stock” with no waitlist option.

    Hi Jessica,

Sure, I can help you out here. 🙂

So, what I’d recommend doing first is testing for conflicts using this documentation, but for WooCommerce Waitlist instead (our documentation specifically is for testing conflicts with our plugins, but the same method would work for other plugins.) This will allow you to see if there is a conflict or not.

Second, you can also turn on debugging mode within WordPress and see if any errors are being thrown? This will allow both our support and theirs to help you out more.

    Thanks!

    Shelby 🙂

Thanks Shelby. We have deactivated/tried combinations, and with or without your plugin activated the Waitlist buttons do not appear. Debugging mode didn’t reveal anything either.

At this point I’m 99.9% sure your add-on isn’t an interference, but as I said, Woo support won’t address on their end until I can confirm.

If it’s easier to give someone temporary access (directly, of course) to confirm I’d be happy to facilitate, just need to get this resolved ASAP.

    Hey again Jessica,

If the conflict testing didn’t reveal anything, then it’s definitely not our plugin. If our plugin was conflicting, then the wait list option would definitely work when it’s deactivated.

You can let them know it’s not us. 🙂

    Thanks!

    Shelby 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
