GuestHello, I have a client who is a non profit org that’s helping local artists get found, find spaces to perform, and enabling them to connect. Part of what they’d like to do is host an events calendar so that local artist can list their work and events as well as the organizations events.
Is there any chance that you can extend them a pro version of your plugin? The organization’s name is Norther Manhattan Arts & Culture. Their sponsor as a 501(c)3 is the Washington Heights and Inwood Development Corporation here in New York.

MemberHi Jorge,
We have a Nonprofit Partnership Program that grants free licenses of Events Calendar
Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved 501c-3 organizations. These licenses give
access to automatic updates when new versions of the plugin are released.
If you’d like to apply, please fill out the following application:https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-npp/
Once approved, we will email you back with a special coupon code, as well as
instructions for providing a sponsor link on your site. We ask that all our nonprofit
partners include a link back to TheEventsCalendar.com on their calendar, and publish a
“thank you” post on Twitter or Facebook to help spread the word. You will find further information about our Nonprofit Partnership Program in the following
link:https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
I hope this helps!
Regards,
Patricia

GuestThank you. I’ll go ahead and apply in the morning. Also, is there any chance to get the extension that enables the importing of events from other sources than just CSV?

MemberHi Jorge,
To be able to import events from multiple sources like Facebook, Meetup, Google Calendar, iCalendar, etc. , you would have to purchase a licence for Event Aggregator.
We won’t be able to offer you a free licence of Event Aggregator at this time, but we do provide a 30% off coupon (for any of our premium products) to approved 501c-3 organizations.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you need anything else and have a great day!

GuestThank you Patricia. Sounds great. I’ve sent the information to Rik Walter who will be completing their app as I don’t have their designation letter.
Lastly, will there be a way to make it so that users can also submit their own events to the calendar? If so, is there a feature to require approval before it goes live on the site

MemberHi Jorge,
Users can submit their events to your calendar using the Community Events plugin. As mentioned before, we do provide a 30% off coupon to approved nonprofits ( this coupon is valid for any of our premium products, including the Community Events plugin!).
I hope this helps 🙂

GuestThank you. Rik Walter submitted the request for the free pro plugin. I’m waiting for that to be approved and I’ll go ahead and get the discounted aggregator for them. How will it work once approved? Will they get a specific login that I have to use? Or a discount code?
Thanks.

MemberHi Jorge,
Once approved, we will email you back with all the information you need! Please note that nonprofit applications are not reviewed daily, and it may be up to a week before an application is processed and you hear back from us.
If you have any other questions please open a new thread for further assistance and have a great day! 🙂

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
