ParticipantHi
This topic
Has reappeared as an issue. The ticket booking box shows one price but everywhere else (calendar, meta data, info under the title) shows the discount price.
I have managed to hide the incorrect price in most places ( eg http://www.symposium.co.uk/event/innovation-in-recruitment-2017/ ) . But am wondering why it’s reappeared two years after we were promised a fix? It’s cost me hundreds of pounds this week as customers have called to ask for the discounted price!

ParticipantUpdate – I have discovered that if I edit the ticket in Woocommerce I can get the prices to reset correctly. I think the issue is that if you have ever had a sale price and then delete the dates for that sale from the Woocommerce Product, then the new ticket prices do not flush through. If you add an end date (I just added yesterday) then the field seems to register the price change and display it correctly on the front end.

MemberGood evening Paul and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are absolutely right. The costs might not always get updated after a sale in WooCommerce.
There are a few workarounds to address this issue (aside from yours):
- You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/ef196ef3154a747a851c771ae45fdecd
This snippet was meant to address exactly that issue. - You could also also force the Cost field to reappear in events and ensure that this price gets used: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/69f8a033fb614c78b3de45a197431135
- Finally, you can simply remove the price from the meta section in the single event view: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/7a44e6ee55afa7800ce76c59c5f73240
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
