Prevent shorcodes showing up in Google Calendar description

Is there a way to either get the result of the shortcode display in Google calendar’s description or replace with the event excerpt as at the moment the description in Google calendar is populated with a bunch of shortcodes.

Hey Jacqui, unfortunately there is currently no way to do this without hacking the core plugin code. I would suggest you add it as a feature request in our feature request thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/
