Prevent creating an event on the same day and time

I am using Events Calendar Pro for one of my clients – Biddenham Village Hall. They use this plugin to book in events at the hall throughout the year. However, they have asked me is there any way to show a warning or to prevent them from double booking a time slot on a specific day. For example, if they have an event booked at 10am – 11.30am on a Saturday, then 2 months later they go to book another event on Saturday at 10am -11.30am, it currently allows them to create this event. They need the plugin to prevent them from doing this or at least show them a warning that there is already an event on that date. Is this possible? Or is there a fix/option for this?

Currently there is no option for this.  However, it should be achievable, but not without some extensive customization.
