MemberHello Andres, thanks for getting in touch!
Great question. Event Tickets does indeed allow you to create free tickets for events, which guests can then purchase and receive an email confirmation with a QR code. If you want to sell tickets and accept payments for them, then I would suggest checking out Event Tickets Plus as well, which does just that.
Does this help clarify things a bit? Please let me know. π
Cheers!

GuestThanks for reply.
Precisely i look for Event Tickets Plus, if this plugin do it, is great!
Geoff really i have many questions:
1. Can I use this plugin with woocommerce variations.
2. Each ticket has your own QR code.e.g if a customer bought 10 tickets, each ticket has your own qr code?.
3. Can I create a custom email template?

MemberHi Andres, thanks for following up!
1. Can I use this plugin with woocommerce variations.
I’ve heard others having success in the past, but I honestly have never used the two plugins together. The best thing to do is to test it out on your own site first — Event Tickets is a free download and we offer a full refund on all products within 30 days of purchase, so that should give you plenty of time to test Event Tickets Plus and return it if it doesn’t work with WooCommerce Variations.
2. Each ticket has your own QR code.e.g if a customer bought 10 tickets, each ticket has your own qr code?.
Yes, that’s correct. Each ticket has it’s own QR code.
3. Can I create a custom email template?
Yes, you definitely can. The plugin has an email template and you can override it in your theme to customize the layout. I would suggest checking out our Themer’s Guide for more detailed information on how template overrides work so you have an idea of what that entails.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberHi Andres,
Sorry, I’m not quite sure I follow your question. I’ll take a try at it, though.
If a customer has paid for a ticket and you collected money for it via WooCommerce, then the customer will receive an email that contains an electronic ticket with a QR code. Each ticket has a unique QR code.
Let me know if this helps. π

GuestYES!!
It could be in pdf format, for the tickets, or is an email?
April 14, 2016 at 8:30 am #1102483Andres
GuestEach ticket is a email separate o how is the functionality?
April 14, 2016 at 8:51 am #1102496Andres
GuestI think this functionality exists, my only concern is in the process of purchase.
If the customer buy the tickets on bank payment gateway, the email with tickets is generated automatically?
is right?

MemberHi Andres, good questions.
It could be in pdf format, for the tickets, or is an email?
Just in the email. There is no PDF attachment with tickets.
Each ticket is a email separate o how is the functionality?
If there are multiple tickets purchase in a single transactions, then all the tickets will be emailed together, each with their own QR code.
If the customer buy the tickets on bank payment gateway, the email with tickets is generated automatically?
That is correct. Once the order is received and processed, the email with the ticket is automatically created and sent to the customer.
Cheers!

GuestTHANKS FOR ALL..
I’ll buy this plugin.April 14, 2016 at 10:50 am #1102609Josef
GuestHi!
I read that each ticket has itβs own QR code.
I don’t have wi-fi connection or mobile coverage to validate the codes…So, It’s possible to export the QR codes of each ticket to a file for work with it in a computer, tablet or PDA?
Thanks,
Josef

GuestOther good question…
There exists an option of export to excel?
April 14, 2016 at 12:21 pm #1102665Geoff
MemberHey folks!
Each ticket also has a unique ID number and an order number which will allow you to check people in at the door. You can export the list of attendees into a spreadsheet ahead of the event and check them manually as they bring their printed ticket to the door.
I would highly suggest checking out out Knowledgebase articles on Event Tickets for much more detailed info on the plugin.
Cheers!

GuestHi!
Thanks for your answer and the articles link.
It is a good solution checking people at the door, but I have a problem, we have only one access door, and it’s a very slow method…
It’s possible change the QR code by a bar code?
Thank you!
Josef
