Pre-sales Question, Calendar/Events problem

I am considering buying Pro, however am having trouble with the free version, as well as your forum, some am a little concerned. I can’t seem to find a place to post in the free forum; it just takes me round in circles.
I don’t think this page is formatting correctly? http://alchemylovejoy.com/events/
Is it supposed to the be lovely calendar format with view and search, etc? If not, how do I get that?
Also, the format of fonts in the widget is MASSIVE ugly. I can’t find useful information on where to even begin for that.
Running WordPress 4.1.1, X Theme 3.2.2, X Shortcodes 3.0.4, The Event Cal latest verion.

I will say that it looks like you might have a theme conflict on your hands. The calendar will inherit the styling of your theme by default, so any undesired formatting is likely coming from there.

As far as the calendar itself displaying, you are welcome to try the troubleshooting steps outlined in this guide to see if you can pinpoint exactly where the conflict is happening.
