I am in need of a new ticketing application for selling tickets to family events.

Typically, there will be events (performances) over 3 days (6 shows) with 3 types of tickets (General Admission, VIP and Box Seating).

We need to sell with coupon codes.

We need the ability to sell on mobile devices with as quick and easy selection and checkout as possible. We use PayPal Pro for processing.

We need the app to send the eTickets automatically, but give us the option to take a phone order or two and email the tickets or leave them at will-call.

We need the ability to correct email addresses and resend tickets (if the customer has did not receive their tickets because of an incorrect email address entry at checkout).

It would be great if they can either print their tickets at home or show their mobile devices at the gate.

Please let me know if your app meets these requirements, and what version of your app we will need to accomplish our goals.

    Hi Larry.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

Event Tickets Plus is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets. In other words, coupon codes and payment gateway integrations would be handled by your eCommerce plugin of choice (e.g. WooCommerce).

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned with any phone app or something like https://webqr.com to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
