Guest-i use the events calendar on several client websites — but have not previously used Event Aggregator.
-normally, I import large groups of events via .csv file as needed-one of my clients (1 site) is interested in purchasing Event Aggregator personal plan to use with the events calendar (not pro version) -currently the events are in google calendar.
-The plan is to do a bulk import of all events currently on the google calendar to create the events posts and we would like to know how the sync feature works.
I see a feature “import events but preserve local changes”
-does that mean can we sync weekly to capture any changes in events on google calendar so they are also adjusted on the events calendar?
-does all of the event detail in the event post get overwritten or only the changed information?
(the detail in the events calendar post will likely be more expansive (venue, organizer, description) — while google calendar individual event would have only date, time, event title)
i.e. if the title of the event in google calendar gets changed from “Party” to “Party Cancelled” on the google calendar, will that be captured in the sync process?-do we need to purchase an Aggregator plan level that corresponds with the total # of events on our google calendar?
we more than 100 events on our calendar for period Aug 2018 – July 2019
with the personal plan can import our events 100 each to get our full calendar of events transferred?
for future the weekly updates, I don’t think 100 events would change in any one weekThanks for your help.

KeymasterHi Lisa,
Thanks for checking out Event Aggregator! It will allow you to schedule imports (up to 100 per day using the Personal license) from Google calendars, and you do have the option to overwrite the events on your site calendar with changes from the Google calendar. The “Import events but preserve local changes” option will import any changes except in fields that you have changed locally (on your site). So for example, if you had changed the event title on your site, the title would not be changed in subsequent imports. If you do want all changes on your site to be overridden with changes from the source calendar, then you can use the “Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source” setting.
The Personal license lets you schedule up to 100 imports per day, regardless of how many events are included in each import. Manual imports do not count against the limit; you can read more about the limitations here. As long as you are not scheduling 100 different imports per day, you should be all set with the Personal license!
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Aggregator for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
