GuestI currently run your free version on my website. I wanted to know if any of your premium versions would offer the following? I have classes that run the same day each week at the same time. But of course each month the date changes. Would any of your plug-ins allow me to change the “start date” and “end date” right from my Event’s list page — I’ve check the screen options drop-down and don’t see anything that would allow me to each those dates right from the list rather than having to open the actual page for each one and change it?? I know your pro version talks about recurring events (classes for me), but from what I’ve read you would still have to open each event one by one. It would be so much easier and faster too, if there was a way to edit the date right from the list? Thank you for your help with this question.

ParticipantHey Gail,
Thanks for reaching out! What you describe here is unfortunately not possible:
Would any of your plug-ins allow me to change the “start date” and “end date” right from my Event’s list page
I’m sorry to disappoint!
You can edit single events in a recurring event series, but it requires going into the wp-admin of your site.
I hope this information helps—let me know!

GuestThat’s disappointing.. could save a lot of time. So if I have an event/class that occurs every, Tuesday, Thursday and Sat each week, every month, etc. Using the Pro version, do I still have to open each single event and change the dates to have them occur for the next month. My classes are the same for the most part, week after week, and now each month I have to edit them one by one to make them appear in the next month. Was looking for a faster way to do that. Is there a demo anywhere what shows how your recurring events works?
Custom Event Recurrence
Have a recurring event that happens on the first Thursday of every month? Every Tuesday and Thursday for three weeks? With custom recurring event patterns, we’ve got you covered.
Thx for the help.

ParticipantHey Gail,
There is unfortunately no online demo. 🙁 As for your questions, though, I appreciate your added specification here.
YES, you can set this up automatically and have it work fine: ” So if I have an event/class that occurs every, Tuesday, Thursday and Sat each week, every month.”
All I’m saying is that to make an exception, you have to manually make the exception event. You do NOT have to manually recreate the whole recurring series.
So let’s say you have a series happening every, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week for the next eighteen months. You can set this up fine, and each event will generate automatically.
Now let’s say that one week, you are having the class on Monday instead of Tuesday. What you would do is “split off” the single event that Tuesday from the rest of the series; and then delete just this Tuesday event. All other events will remain intact. Then you create an event on Monday with the same title, description, etc., and direct users here to sign up for the class (and probably announce the change on your blog or twitter or something, etc.)
This functionality is the best currently-available way to do this. I’m sorry that there’s not something better, and that there is no demo version to test this. On this note, however, I would like to mention that many folks use our thirty-day no-questions-asked Refund Policy to basically simulate a “trial period.” You get thirty days to play around with the plugin, and then any time along the way within that period you can get a refund in full by following these steps → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
I hope this all helps!
