ParticipantI was running a site with an older version of WordPress (3.6X) and older version of EC Pro (2.08), suddenly after upgrading WordPress, and EC Pro, the relationships I’ve setup between Events and another custom post type are no longer “saving” when updating or publishing an event. I do notice however that they are being saved in the database in the p2p table but they are not showing as saved on the backend in the Posts 2 Posts meta box in the Event edit window. I am able to confirm that Posts 2 Posts, functions normally and saves with other test relationships I’ve created from Posts to Pages and Pages to Posts so it seems to be something new that’s popping up with my custom post type to the updates events custom post type. Could this be related at all to this thread where the post id is being set as something other than the actual post id?: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/advanced-custom-fields-event-values-not-saving-to-event/

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can try to help out some, but for the most part integrating two plugins from two different vendors is beyond the support we can provide on the forum.
Having said that here are some information that might help:
When the Events Calendar updated from 2.x to 3.x there was a significant change to the code base last year. That maybe the cause of the issue. The post type should still be tribe_events though.
I did find some threads that might provide some information, but looks like there is an on going issue:
“Posts 2 Posts Connections & Event End Time”
“Posts 2 Posts Connections”
Fixing Posts 2 Posts and The Events Calendar plugin compatibility

Could this be related at all to this thread where the post id is being set as something other than the actual post id?
This is in reference to Recurring Events so I do not think so, but it could be possible. The Event is saved with the actual post id, it is the recurring events that created the issue. If I read that right.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions and I can try to help out.
Thanks
