    Hi
I am reviewing your calendar to replace another calendar that is having some problems, so helping work out if the little issues I have can be solved. I would be looking to purchase this calendar for this project so any help in understanding if this can be solved would be great.

I have created a menu item that links from the category function in menu’s, but when I click on the menu link, the post header attribute is pulled from the title of the latest or next available Event, so the whole calendar seems to a changing page header according to what has been added recently to the calendar.

It appears above the ‘Add HTML before event content’ content set in the Events>settings>display settings.

Also it would be nice to be able to shorten the events page URL so it doesn’t include events/category/calendar name

I look forward to hearing from you.
    David

    Hi David,

We’re stoked to hear you are thinking of purchasing a license, which is a great way to support the project besides providing you with all the additional capabilities of Events Calendar PRO (if that’s the product you are thinking of) and access to our regular support channels.

I’m also sorry to hear you have hit up against a few problems. I’m afraid, though, that we don’t deliver technical support here in the pre-sales forum: this forum is really only for enquiries about the features and functionality of our products and not for assistance in using them or resolving other issues that might arise.

If you do go ahead and purchase a license we will be more than happy to assist you further over in our Events Calendar PRO forum. If you need assistance prior to that, you are of course more than welcome to post in the community forum.

    Thanks again 🙂

Hi! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed. Thanks
