It looks like a theme conflict indeed! Specifically, a javascript error.

Would you please test for conflicts to confirm our theory by following the documentation here?

thanks- I switched to twenty sixteen theme and disabled plugins
Culprit appears to be W3 Total Cache plugin.
I’ve disabled it for now.
Is there anything I can do to resolve the conflict? I use that plugin for clearing the cache

Glad to hear that you found the source of the conflict!

The fastest and easiest way to resolve a conflict like this is to find a plugin that has the same function, without the conflict. Being that there are a plethora of free caching plugins, this should be a fairly easy solution to implement. (Here is a good list of some potential alternatives)
