pop-up hover over event on month view "more" break not working

Hi there, I recently purchased event calendar pro. When I hover the mouse over an event in the month viw, the pop-up box is supposed to display the picture, date, and first 6 lines, then break with <…> When I set up the event, I inserted the “more” breakline, but it is not working. But what happens is the entire amount of information is shown, going over the page. The “more” break is also not working in the dummy content I downloaded, even though it works in the online demo.

My question is, How can I get the “more” breakline to work?
