Plugins suitable for after school activity sign up

Hi there,

I was wondering if any of your plugins would be suitable to manage an after school activity sign up process. The school offers several after school clubs each day, and it would be great for them to be displayed in a calendar. However, since the same programs are offered on the respective day of each week (e.g. Mondays: tennis, ballet and football; Tuesdays: lego club, Zumba and Taekwondo, etc). it would be ideal if the calendar doesn’t display the activities tied to a specific date, but only tied to the day of the week.

I guess it would sort of be like a recurring activity, but the parents would sign their child up for the entire school term (e.g Sep to Dec). It would be ideal if the events could be added without being tied to a date.

Would your products work for this type of setup or if not, can you recommend anything?

Hi, Juliana. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

It doesn’t sound like a perfect fit, although much of our code is customizable if you’re so inclined or would like to reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

If interested, though, I don’t see why you couldn’t try out the free/core The Events Calendar (requires our Events Calendar PRO add-on to create recurring events) and Event Tickets (allows RSVPs but not paid tickets) plugins. Just know that our tickets do not wholly support recurring events.

If it turns out our plugin suite isn’t the right fit for you at this time, you might consider a membership plugin; that’s really the only other thought I have for alternatives.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
