ParticipantHi, I added an event and it was showing on the site site. Shortly after, I added a ticket and the event in question now has the following php error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function edd_get_download() in /home/catthob2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/EDD/Main.php on line 604
Please help.
Thanks,
Paul

MemberHi Paul. Sorry you’re having this issue.
Do you have Easy Digital Downloads activated? If yes, is it the latest version?
If yes, I’d recommend trying a few things:
- Delete and re-install fresh copies of both EDD and Event Tickets Plus
- Enable WP_DEBUG mode and see if there are any messages
- Once WP_DEBUG isn’t throwing any messages, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberThere isn’t a GUI option for which eCommerce plugins to choose to use.
Instead, Event Tickets Plus just detects the plugins you have active. Do you have EDD active? If yes, can you deactivate it? If not, why not?
Same for WP E-Commerce plugin. Deactivate it.
RSVP won’t disappear because that’s from the free/core Event Tickets plugin that Event Tickets Plus requires. Also, it’s there in case you ever just want to use the free/RSVP ticket type without having any interaction with WooCommerce (why use WooCommerce for a free ticket?).
I hope this information helps. I’m curious to hear back from you. Thanks!

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Thanks, I understand. How do I deactivate EDD? It’s not an actual plugin and there’s no option within Event Tickets to disable it?

Paul

MemberOdd…
Are you on a multisite network (maybe it’s network activated) or did EDD come bundled with your theme (don’t think I’ve seen this before)?
Please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

MemberET+ would only be calling EDD if EDD is detected.
Somehow, obviously, it thinks EDD is there and therefore is calling its function, but it really isn’t there.
This isn’t something I can reproduce on my local testing site so please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I reverted back to the Twenty Fifteen in a test environment and yes, the EDD and WPEC options disappeared, so it was related to the Avada theme. I have gone into the theme files and removed the ‘offending code’ so that those options no longer appear.
Many thanks for your assistance.
Regards,
Paul
