ParticipantExtremely frustrated. Paid for Event Calendar Pro, Event Tickets Plus, Community Events, Community Tickets … for two separate websites, but support requires me to waste hours of my own time searching for answers. As a customer I feel like my time is not considered very valuable by the providers of these plugins. š
I posted another thread about editing the labels on the ticket buttons. I would prefer “RSVP” rather than “Buy Now”.
Problem #2 … I have the default view set to map view. In this view the featured event photos are HUGE! Cannot find a setting to change the size of these photos. Searched the support system here on this site and cannot find.
Problem #3 … On each individual event page, the title of the event does not appear. What is at the top is the name of the previous event and the next upcoming event. Quite confusing. Why isn’t the title of the event being described on the page being displayed?
Money spent. Functionality for my users on hold. š

KeymasterHi Rich,
Thanks for reaching out again!
It seems like the first issue is being addressed in another thread, so I’ll leave that one for now.
Problem #2 ⦠I have the default view set to map view. In this view the featured event photos are HUGE!
You can either try altering the image with some CSS by inspecting the element and adding the change to the WordPress Customizer or your theme’s (or child theme’s) stylesheet, or you can try a third-party plugin, like Quick Featured Images.
Problem #3 ⦠On each individual event page, the title of the event does not appear. What is at the top is the name of the previous event and the next upcoming event. Quite confusing. Why isnāt the title of the event being described on the page being displayed?
I see what you mean here, that is definitely not expected behavior.
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1.Ā Ā A conflict with another plugin
2.Ā Ā A conflict with your WordPress theme
3.Ā Ā A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1.Ā Ā Make a backup of your database
2.Ā Ā Consider activating a āMaintenance Pageā plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
