Paypal "This Invoice has already been paid message"

    I’m having the same issue as this individual but can’t see how it was solved because some of the messages are private.

    "This invoice has already been paid" Message

    I set up ticketed events for a client and I can buy one successfully but when I go back to the site to buy another I receive the “This invoice has already been paid message”

    I’ve read online about solution to this and some say there is a way to change Paypal setting to allow multiple payments but they also say that is a work around to the real issue being the same invoice number being sent to Paypal from the ticketing system on the website.

    Your help would be appreciated as I need to have this working by the end of Monday(24hours).

    Hello David,

    Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m sorry about this issue.

    Indeed this issue has been resolved previously with a plugin update.

    We know there is an issue w/ PayPal cookies, when logging in as merchant and customer in the same browser session: PayPal does not like that.

    When testing anything PayPal care should be taken to use two separate browsers (or two separate private/incognito windows), one dedicated to the merchant and one to the customer.

    Please run your test like that and let me know how that works out.
