ParticipantIn the plugin description you mentionned that your plugin already have Paypal gateway to allow the event paid registration.
I couldn’t found such option.
Could you help?
ThanksAugust 9, 2017 at 9:42 pm #1333263Jennifer
KeymasterHi Karim,
Event Tickets Plus will let you sell tickets on your site, but it does require that either the WooCommerce plugin or Easy Digital Downloads plugin be installed and activated on your site (in addition to our free Event Tickets plugin). These are both free eCommerce platforms, and Event Tickets Plus uses them to handle the checkout process on your site. All payment setup and processing is done through one of these plugins. However, both options do come with PayPal!
I hope that clears things up, but please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennife

KeymasterHi Karim,
I’m sorry you’ve had such a hard time getting everything set up! I understand it can be confusing having several different plugins involved. We try to break up the functionality into separate plugins as lots of users may only need a few of the features that our different plugins offer.
Just to clarify, you can create events using our free plugin, The Events Calendar, and you can also create free tickets using Event Tickets (also free). If you’d like to sell tickets, that’s when you would need to purchase a license, specifically for Event Tickets Plus. It sounds like Event Tickets Plus may be what you needed instead of Events Calendar Pro, which is what you currently have. They are the same price, and if you’d like, I’d be happy to switch out the license for you. Events Calendar Pro has some great features like additional calendar views, shortcodes, and support for recurring events, but it is not required to sell tickets.
If you’d like to do this, you would not have to pay anything else, just install and activate the new plugins.
You would still need to install either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, which are also free but required to sell tickets, as they handle the checkout process for you. We have it set up this way because if you had other products you wanted to sell on your site besides tickets, your users would be able to buy multiple things in one step, instead of having to go through a separate checkout process just for tickets.
If you’d still like to request a refund, you can do so by filling out the form here.
I apologize again for the misunderstanding, but if there’s anything else I can help with, I am happy to do so!
