ParticipantHi George,
To answer your questions above:
1. This does not show up either
2. All plugins disabled. Neither show in Tools panelTo confirm all plugins disabled on both a test copy of the system and to verify also on the live production system. server rebooted. 2017 theme applied To eliminate theme.
So you are aware we decided to start clearing these invalid exclusions up by hand earlier this week as the performance issues were impacting on system usage. Most recurring events have now been cleaned. the system so far is not adding expired events as exclusions so that is one positive.
I still would like to know why these plugins don’t appear in Tools as others do.

ParticipantHi George,
I have created a virgin WordPress site using the 2016 theme. Load the plugin and it still does not show up in Tools. So I can only assume there is an inconsistency between the way my servers are setup (Hosted with TSOHost) and yours. I’be even tried using my Serverpress test environment with the same result. As we have finished cleaning the exclusions I don’t see any point wasting more time on this however I will do one more test on a newly built VM Linux server to see if I can track down the issue as it somewhat limits our ability to receive patches in the future.
One question – Is the plugin dependent on any of the calendar plugins or any other plugin?
Cheers

ParticipantUpdate – Virgin install Apache/WP. WP Theme 2017 on Local NAS. Added both Events Cleanup and Exclusions cleanup Plugins to system. Neither appeared in Tools Menu. WP Importer tool does appear in the menu structure.
As this was a clean install of both Apache and WP I can’t see why this does not work unless there is a dependency.

ParticipantHey David,
Both extensions indeed rely on current versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro being installed, but as you noted, since you have cleaned up all of your erroneous exclusions we can move on for now.
One of our team members was able to reproduce your problem with the Extensions not showing up, so it does seem like there’s a legitimate bug here with these custom Tools and we will work on this separately to try and prevent this from happening in the future or with other tools.
I am very sorry about the trouble with that here—we intended the tool to be useful and to make your life easier, not add to the frustrations you were facing with the exclusions!
Thanks so much for your continued patience and for testing/assisting here. Best of luck with your site David, please open a new thread any time if other issues arise.
Cheers,
George -
