This is in response to the previous topic I opened https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/past-events-list-3/
For some reason, I don’t know why my response to Patricia on Aug 1 didn’t post.
Anyway, I did reapply the snippet she provided and it worked but then there was an issue because I only wanted the PAST EVENTS to show in reverse chronological order. But when the snippet was applied, both the Upcoming and Past Events are in reverse chronological order. So I removed the snippet for the meantime and I am hoping you can revise the code so that ONLY PAST EVENTS will be showing in reverse chronological order.

Welcome back!

That snippet shared with you in our previous thread was written to reverse the chronological order of Past Events only, and it is working as expected as I can see from here.

I would suggest you to check your theme’s functions.php file and look for any additional custom code that might be causing this issue. Also, can you please send us a screenshot from the page where you are seeing your Upcoming events in reverse chronological order while having this snippet enabled in functions.php file?

I’m curious to know why this is happening since that snippet is using the tribe_is_past function as a validation to reverse the chronological order.
