Past Events List

Hi,
We would like to ask assistance on how to get all of our past events listed in our events page http://treeguildwa.asn.au/list-of-events/
As you can see, it only displays 5 past events. The shortcode we used for this list is [ecs-list-events past=’yes’]
We have a total of 7 past events, which, therefore, does not include 2 of our recent events.
Is there also a way to have the list order start with the recent past event?

Thank you for reaching out to us!

First off, in case you did not know, The Events Calendar Shortcode plugin is not from us and we do not offer any type of support for it.

To help you in this specific case, I’ve installed the plugin and found out that you can change the number of displayed events by setting the ‘limit’ parameter:

[ecs-list-events past=’yes’ limit=’7′]

Regarding your second question, you can use this snippet to show past events in reverse chronological order.

Thank you for your response. The shortcode works.
But for the snippet of the reverse chronological order, we are getting HTTP Error 500 after insertign it in our theme’s function.php file. Hope you can help me fix this issue.

Hi Jerry,

Did you include the snippet in your functions.php file with the opening “<?php” tag? If you did, please remove this line and save the file again. Everything should work as expected after that.
