On my website the three places where the Site Title should be are all displaying differently. I’ve set it up on the actual page and Yoast correctly but when I add the slug to the /events page it changes.
The page is: http://w01.sasblhumantest.wf.ulcc.ac.uk/events/
The tab header is “Upcoming Events” which would be fine
The page header isn’t displaying in the page heading section (heading-text); but above the calendar instead
The page itself is still called Events on the menu.I’d prefer if all three were called events and all displayed in the right place!

I’d be happy to help here!
If you want to customize the title tag you can do so by using one of the snippets provided here >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-browser-title-for-calendar-views/Ā and modify them to suit your needs.
Does this help? Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks, that will help with the tab title. It’s the page title (in the pink box) that I’m particularly concerned about – do you know what php I need to write in to get the title to show in there?

Good to know that helped!
As for the page title in the pink box, that is handled by your theme template, so you should find out what function is that template trying to print in that pink box.
The following article might be helpful to find out how you can modify the title >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/
I hope that helps! Let me know how that goes and if you have other questions.

June 30, 2017 at 6:29 pm #1314823VictorKeymasterHi Laura!
Thanks for following up on this.
I’m sorry to hear you could not find the source of your problem. It could be worth asking the theme developers to see if they can help in locating the source of it.
If you could send us a copy of your theme in a private reply, we can have a look at it and see if we can spot where that is. This may take us some time, depending on our availability. We can’t promise anything here, but we’d love to take a chance and see if we can help you out.
Let us know! š
Have a good weekend!

I’m really sorry you are not able to contact the theme authors.
One thing you could try is using a different template to show the events, by going to Events > Settings > Display tab and underĀ Events templateĀ select a different option. Here’s a good article related to this >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/stylesheets-and-page-templates/
I will also reference you to our Themer’s Guide where you’ll find useful information to customizing our templates >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Regarding the page header not showing at all, I could not see it in the link you provided because it throws a 404 page. But in the rest of your site I can see the page header showing ok.
Let us know how that goes.
