ParticipantHaving threes issues on new development site: https://demo.colloquiapartners.com/events/
1)Page title says Archives. Searched previous solutions and none seemed to work.
2)First Event title is missing. Subsequent events are fine, just the first one.
3)Filter overlaps header. As you scroll down, the View filter overlaps the header menu.New to Events Calendar and WordPress, so I would greatly appreciate any advice or explanations to be step-by-step clear for a beginner.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Jason,
Thanks for reaching out!
I think the “Archives” text is coming from your theme, and the issue with the first title not being displayed may be related to a conflict as well. The HTML for the title is showing up on the page, and I did not see anything obvious that would cause it to be hidden. Can you try switching to a default theme (like Twenty Seventeen – you can do this under Appearance > Themes) and see if that solves either of these issues? If not, try testing for conflicts with other plugins as well.
Regarding the filter overlapping the header, I wasn’t able to recreate this on my end…can you send me screenshot of what you mean? Also, does this happen in multiple browsers?
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantJennifer,
I switched to Twenty Seventeen, and the Archives did disappear. I still
want to use my preferred Theme, One Page Express Pro, so I may have to
reach out to the developer for help there. As far as the other two issues, both remain, even in Twenty Seventeen.
The first Event title is not showing and the View Filter is floating over
the header menu when you scroll down.

KeymasterHi Jason,
Thanks for doing that test with the theme!
We are limited in the support we can provide for theme conflicts, so reaching out to the theme author as you mentioned may be your best bet. I would also recommend taking a look at your theme’s archive template (look for archive.php) and seeing if you can remove the “Archive ” text there.
Regarding the title not being displayed – I noticed that if you enter any search terms in, the title appears when the list refreshes…is this happening with multiple events, or just this particular one? Did this still occur with all other plugins disabled using the Twenty Seventeen theme?
Finally, I am still not able to recreate the issue with the filter floating over the header image. Could you please send me a screenshot and describe when this is happening and which browser(s) it happens in?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Jason,
Glad to hear we’re down to just one issue! I’m looking at your events page, and it is now showing the title for the first event. I tried recreating the issue but was not able to do so. Is there a certain circumstance where it is still not showing, or were you able to get this one resolved as well?
Please let me know if you need any further assistance with this!
Thanks,
Jennifer
