Page for new events not found

When I create new events, the page for the event is not being created. When I try to view the event page, it gives a Page not found message.

The event still shows in the calendar views and list view. But the event page is just not there.

Actually, there I installed a new update today – Events Calender 3.9.3. I noticed in the change log, this item:

“Ensured that rewrite rules are flushed upon plugin activation so event pages do not 404”

After the update, the 404 problem was corrected.
