Overriding single-venue.php

i am trying to make a custom template for the single post i put the file in:

divi-child/tribe-events/pro/single-venue.php

But it is still using the original single-venue.php for some reason.
Please advise,

Hi, Sandy.

I understand you’re asking about Template Overrides. It looks like you’re putting this in the correct location, but maybe this child theme isn’t the active theme?

It’s a good idea to put some “junk” (like “blah blah blah”) in your template override file so you know for sure it’s the one that’s rendering.

If you still can’t get it figured out, our “how-to” walk-through video may prove helpful.
