Organizer & Venue locking by user

I’m looking for a way for a user to only be able to add venues and organizers that “belong” to them.

In other words, Bob should only be able to host events at bobs house organized by Bob, not at Mary’s house across the country, organized by Mary.

Is that easily done? Is it just a setting? Or will that require custom development?

Great question.

Limiting venue and organizer selection by owner is not part of our plugin functionality at the moment. I believe it could be done with some custom development, though can’t say how easy or difficult that would be.

Customization work of this kind is beyond the scope of support we provide. I can try to give you some pointers but you would need to do the heavy lifting yourself.

If you need help with developing this I can share with you a list of developers who could possible help you out.
