Organizer and venue update message

When an existing event is updated from community events page, a message is displayed, saying that it has been updated, perfect. However, if the update is for a venue or organizer, it keeps in the update page without display any message.

Is it any kind of issue? could you point me on the direction to change the code to get a custom message?

Thanks for reaching out to us!

When making the updates and clicking “Update Venue” do the changes you made persist when you go back to look at an event associated with the Venue or when viewing the venue within your dashboard?

Additionally, I just tested this on my local install and upon updating I receive a notice at the top of the page that looks like https://cloudup.com/ckZfow-ht_E.

Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there are any conflicts that may be preventing the venue from updating or the notices to not display.

I wasn’t getting the update message for venues and organizers because i was using this code to modify the event submission and update message: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/8aa1390da48520f88149

Is there a way to modify in an indpendent way, the message for venues/organizers/events ?

Or a way to modifi the event message (like in the code above) but without lost the venue and organizers message?

Thanks for following up and providing the snippet!

I tested out your snippet and was able to see the new message when creating and editing events (https://cloudup.com/cGofCVqTxN8). However, I also tested updating a venue with this snippet active and I’m still able to see the traditional “Venue Updated” message on update (https://cloudup.com/cyZSO3I5Rdg).

Are you sure there aren’t any other snippets in place that may be conflicting with that message?
