Participantwhen the event is created and I attribute an organiser and venue they are not being saved to the event or showing up on the event.
I have disabled all plugins except for event calendar & tested on a wordpress theme to see if there is a conflict with another plugin or the theme but it is not working under these test conditions either.
The other thing that is not working is the event list under the mini calendar. I got around this by adding a list widget manually but I thought I might mention it here.July 19, 2016 at 4:32 pm #1141740Cliff
MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while creating new events (and organizers and venues), editing existing events (and organizers and venues), changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.

ParticipantHello – I worked through the steps provided. I was still unable to assign a venue and organiser to the event. I was however able to add it to a new event so I remade all the events. Any idea why I can’t add it to the exisiting events?

MemberSorry to hear this. Is it happening to events created prior to one of our recent updates, or does the issue also happen for the events you just recreated?
Could you please create a video of the issue so I can take a closer look at exactly what’s happening? In the video, please show your active plugins and active theme, then go through the steps to demonstrate the issue.

ParticipantIt is only happening with old events. All new events are working ok. It may be after an update I am not sure.
