Order of events in Blog Loop

Hi Barry,

on our website the events are successfully integrated in the Blog Loop:
http://www.treffpunkt-jazz.de

Unfortunately it appears that the order is not as expected. Currently there are events showing on the frontpage that are far in the future (e.g. Kelterfest in Feuerbach mit der Riverside Jazz & Blues Band is on the 23 Aug 2015).

It would be great if I can change the order that only events that are in the future appear and the order is by events date descending.

I saw your post here that you have a snipplet that changes the order:

Ticking the ‘Main blog loop’ forces the farthest events to top of main blog…

Maybe you can help me out with it, too? 😉
