    I get this error when trying to check out – This order’s status is “Completed”—it cannot be paid for. Please contact us if you need assistance.

    This has started happening after the update to 4.3.5 of Events Tickets Plus.

    Any ideas?

    We have the same issue – Orders completing before any payment gateway is processed. Very urgent problem.

    Ian,

    I tried a few things that made it work, although inconsistently.
    1 – Events > Settings – Turn off the set WooCommerce trying to complete orders automatically option
    2 – I had custom code in my functions.php that was attempting to do the same thing ie. auto-complete the woocommerce orders. I commented that out
    3 – if your gateway was using an iframe to process payments on the page, try switching to a redirect to the payment gateways servers instead

    This has seemed to work for most users, but I don’t think its back to normal just as yet.

    Sorry to hear you are both experiencing this issue. @Ian, go ahead and create a separate thread for your issue. Doing so helps decrease the time it takes to get a patch included in an upcoming maintenance release. Thanks!
