Optimizing My Events Page For Social Sharing

I’d like to promote my events calendar, in addition to single events. How do I add snippets and/or photos?

Hi Tracy.

You should definitely be setting a Featured Image for each event. It’s done via wp-admin’s Event/Post edit screen, just like adding a Featured Image to a regular blog post via wp-admin.

It might also help to use the Facebook URL Debugger/Crawler tool to check out the results once you add an image.

I think you misunderstood my question. I’m ok with posting individual events. I’m asking about optimizing this page: http://www.living90045.com/events.

You might want to check out this plugin that adds widget areas, which you could use to insert a social sharing plugin.
