ParticipantHow i describe in the already closed ticket, https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/wootickets-child-templatefile-dont-get-called-before-parent-templatefile/#post-1175869, the parent-child-theme engine dont work in particular case of overwriting the wootickets view template file.
WP_DEBUG is on, but no errors are shown:
[14-Nov-2016 14:07:36 UTC] event-tickets/common – Log: Tribe Events wird eingerichtet für Nov, 14th at 02:11:36 pm
[14-Nov-2016 14:09:35 UTC] event-tickets/common – Log: Tribe Events wird eingerichtet für Nov, 14th at 02:11:35 pmthe phpinfo of the dev env is in the appendix. I am using a VVV to develop the theme.

KeymasterHi gtvmbh,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry about this issue with the template override.
Make sure you have your template override in this folder:
wp-content\themes\{your-theme}\tribe-events\tickets\wootickets\tickets.php
I believe this could be the issue, it seems you used the folder tickets-plus before.
If this doesn’t solve it then please give me more details on your issue:
- what did you do
- what do you expect to happen
- what is happening
Also, please share your system information with me, here’s a guide for that:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks and cheers,

ParticipantThis dont fix the bug, but yes… I had put the child template to wp-content\themes\{your-theme}\tribe-events\tickets-plus\wootickets\tickets.php because of the misunderstanding of the documentation on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/#tickets-plus. Maybe its better to make another comment on the themers guide for other users.
I’d test the template engine for this particular template by coping the tickets.php and then add an output via echo command. When i make the change in the parent file it shows up, but in the child file it doesnt.
