Only allow certain cities?

im Having a huge problem with typos happening on imported events on the cities making it so multiple cities are showing up just diff spelling for same cities. Is it possible to have a list of default cities for a selection to be made from? I’m not sure how that would work with the import option, other than when we review it before publishing it ends up being blank or something if not one of the selections? Please help this makes me look super unprofessional

I’m sorry to hear about that typo problem.

There is not much we can do about it at the moment. To do different checks and modifications when importing would require extensive custom coding which is beyond the scope of the support we provide here in the forums.

The best would be getting the import sources in order. What are the urls that you are importing?

If you need some help with the customization I can share with you a list of freelancers who are unaffiliated with us and could possibly help you out.

think the errors are coming from our facebook imports. Just makes us look
unprofessional on this end.

Hi Rhonda,

I totally understand your frustration with this issue.

An extra note, since you mentioned Facebook, If the events use a different location on Facebook – meaning the locations are saved with a different unique identifier – then they will be regarded as different during import.

If you would like to ‘merge’ them, then you will need to do different comparisons (i.e. address details) before saving them in your database. I hope this will help.
