ParticipantI have Events Tickets and Events Tickets Plus installed and activated.
Have then setup Products in WooCommerce – thinking there would be some way of linking the two within WooCommerce.
I now see that I have to set up Tickets within Event Tickets Plus – however the reason I didn’t realise this is because there seem to be missing sections available in the left menu when I select Events – see screenshot.
What do I need to do to get this working?

MemberHello Neil,
When you head to the Tickets tab on that screen you shared, that should bring up a list of options like the ones here in this screenshot. Do you see those options?
If so, please make sure that “Events” is selected in the option for post types that can have tickets. If it is not already selected, go ahead and do so and save your changes.
If not, then please stop there, take a screenshot and share that options screen with me. Also, please head to Events > Settings > Help, copy the System Information at the bottom of the screen and paste it here for me as a private reply. That will help me check a few other settings.
Let’s start here and see what we find!

ParticipantI have since found out that I can choose the page I want to Tickets on and create the Tickets there. I have done this and added an image to each. I can see these have been added to the WooCommerce Products listing, but cannot see the newly created Tickets on the designated page. http://flinthamshow.co.uk/buy-tickets/

ParticipantOkay, resolved now. You can’t edit Catalog visibility direct in the Page area, you have to go and edit the created Ticket in WooCommerce to do that.

However, selecting a ticket/product does nothing – so you do not get taken to a Product info page to choose how many you want?

MemberHi Neil, thanks for following up!
However, selecting a ticket/product does nothing – so you do not get taken to a Product info page to choose how many you want?
Just to clarify, adding a ticket to a page or post is done directly in the page or post editor. Once a ticket has been created, it gets registered as a Product in WooCommerce which, as you correctly noticed, can be displayed in the WooCommerce catalog if needed.
Once the ticket is displayed in the Product Catalog, it can be added to the cart from the shop page and the quantity can be adjusted in the cart. Here’s a quick screencast that illustrates how that works.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Geoff
I’ve done that, as you’ll see here: http://flinthamshow.co.uk/buy-tickets/
however selecting a ticket/product does not then go through to basket or confirm the ticket/product has been added to basket.??July 27, 2016 at 8:52 am #1144684Neil
