ParticipantI have installed Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus, but I am still not receiving email notifications when people reserve tickets. I am using the ticket function to book appointments, so there are no sales transactions. When I am in the “edit event” screen the only ticket option I have is for RSVP. I have selected myself as the event organizer. Is there something I am missing? Thank you in advance for your help!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear you have not been receiving emails notifications for when people reserve tickets.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.
As a first step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
When I am in the “edit event” screen the only ticket option I have is for RSVP.
It sounds like you do not have a WordPress e-commerce plugin activated (e.g.: WooCommerce, EDD dowloads, etc..). The Tickets Plus only kicks in once one of the e-commerce plugins is detected.
This will provide you with additional Tickets choice as well as email notifications.

Thank you for your replies.
I would like to use the RSVP ticket function since I am not selling tickets, just using the ticket feature to book appointments. Is it possible to receive email notifications when people sign up for RSVP tickets?
You are absolutely right, for booking purposes RSVP usually work better than full-fledged tickets.
That being said, unfortunately notifications do not get sent when an RSVP is being made for now.
This means you will have to use one of the following mitigating measures:- Regularly check on the attendees list manually
- Program (or hire a programmer) to trigger an automatic email once the order status of an RSVP event is set to completed
- Use a free WooCommerce ticket
- Finally, you can even vote and comment on the following feature request from our User Voice forum
I wish I had a better answer, but this is the best one I have for now.

ParticipantHi Geoff, thanks for the response. Would it be possible for me to get a refund for my purchase of Event Tickets Plus? The only reason I purchased it was for the email notification. I did not see it mentioned anywhere in the product description that notifications were only sent for tickets, not RSVPs. Since this is the case, I have no need for the product.

I see where you are coming from. We are sorry to hear this didn’t work out for you.
Just to make sure I did not communicate this improperly, Events Tickets Plus does indeed provide notifications (via WooCommerce), but it does not do so for the RSVP tickets.
The good news is your are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
