GuestHi
I’m setting up an event website for my workplace. I work for a non departmental government body in the UK. Each employee contributes £1 a month and my workplace matches that contribution by a further £1 a month. We are non profit in that all contributions are paid back out by doing community events. We also have a strong focus on health and wellbeing and encouraging people back into work who have been off sick. So we spend some of our small funds on wellbeing events. My workplace is able to reclaim any tax it pays however technically we’re not a charity!
I notice you offer free plugins for charities and I was wondering whether I’m able to get any support to purchase the WooTickets add on and community tickets add on. I’m not expecting it for free but any help would be appreciated. I’m also interested in what the Event Tickets new plugin will be.
Grateful for any hints tips and support. I don’t actually require the Event Calendar PRO plugin and the excellent free version fulfills my humble needs
Warm Wishes

GuestHi Cliff,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes I’ve seen the link provided but we don’t quite fit your model. For instance we don’t have sponsors as such. Nor are we a charity so I can’t really provide a document to say such. But we are non profit and our whole aim is to improve well being of employees not make any profit.
My company is the same are your environmental protection agency in the US in that we protect the environment in the UK.
Does that help any or do I not qualify as a non profit? I admit my circumstances are quite unusual
Kind Regards

GuestHi Cliff,
Sorry my last reply didn’t seem to post so will try again 🙁
Thanks for the link I have seen this before but as we’re not a charity I can’t provide any charity documentation. Nor do we have sponsors as such but we are non profit!
I suppose the best way to explain it is my workplace are like the US environmental protection agency and we protect the environment in the UK.
Because we’re not a charity does that mean we won’t qualify for non-profit discount? I admit we are a bit of an unusual case! We aren’t religious based in any way nor are we associated with any political party.
I’d be grateful for any possible support if we don’t qualify for free help
Kind Regards

MemberYou’re welcome to submit the non-profit application and it’ll be reviewed. However, note that there’s no support included with those licenses so you may choose to just buy them anyway without applying for the free versions.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Regarding the new Event Tickets plugin, it should be released soon so you shouldn’t have to wait too long to use it.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
