No slash / being added to events slug – so links don't work

Hi there

I’m not far off going live with this site, and have noticed that there is an issue with the slug created my my calendar (I have Pro).
The plugins have been updated, I thought that may resolve it, but no such luck.

Basically it is not adding a / into the slug, so it results in mydomain.comevents instead of mydomain.com/events – and of course doesn’t display the page, or any subpages of that link structure.

It doesn’t allow me to manually put a / in the slug (eg. /events), as it says:

Your form had the following errors:
Events URL slug must be a valid slug (numbers, letters, dashes, and underscores).
The above setting was not saved. Other settings were successfully saved.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Time is also of the essence for me at this stage 🙂

I’m sorry to hear about this issue! I cannot reproduce this – it might be something specific to WP Engine’s platform.
