ParticipantMap view worked previously. I have just upgraded to ECP Version 4.4.16 and today map view is not working. I see an error message saying, “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.” The tab in Chrome says “Page not found.”
I saw this post with a similar problem, but I thought this ECP release was thought to fix it.
Thank you, Vic

ParticipantI have spun up the staging site with the AWS backup I made before upgrading ECP from 4.4.15 to 4.4.16. Map view seems to work fine there. Full disclosure: When I upgraded ECP I also upgraded three other plugins.

ParticipantIn order to restore the map view feature, I am swapping the main and staging sites. So the staging site will have the “embarrassing” error and not the main site. This swap should be complete in about 20 minutes, i.e., by Sat Aug 26 22:30:00 2017 UTC.

MemberHello Victor
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Finally, check to see if your site has any Javascript errors: Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors.
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks Courtney, on the staging site, I disabled all other plugins and installed the Twenty Seventeen theme. Then I observed the map view working normally. So I enabled all of the plugins one by one, reenabled my Ribosome theme, and each time observed the map view working normally. So then I upgraded the ECP and EC plugins in my production site, and again I observed the map view working normally. So the only explanations I can think of are that the problem must have been transient, based on one or more events that are no longer being displayed due to the new date, or that disabling and reenabling the plugins corrected the issue.
Best regards, Vic
