ParticipantHi, I’ve installed theme Michigan (online events and courses), which was designed to work with Events Calendar and Events Ticket (+ Pro versions), for my events website (in development).
The standard theme as is only lets people register via a contact form, hence why I’ve bought Events Ticket Pro and Installed Events Ticket and Events Calendar.
However, installing and configuring the plugin, it still doesn’t change the Register button to allow users to purchase tickets.
I’ve set up tickets for an event, it even creates those ticket types as products in woocommerce, etc. But on the front user end, there are no changes. Still, the Register button just goes to a contact form, Not to the ticket purchase and event registration woocommerce pages. You cannot purchase tickets at all.
No theme errors as it was advertised with these plugins specifically.
Here is the url for the test event (click the Register button to see): http://melindaedwards.co/event/learning-technologies-and-learning-and-skills-44/
Can you please help? Happy to provide admin access if needed.
thanks

MemberGood evening Melinda and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us. Thank you also for your invitation to log in.
Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.
We are sorry to hear about the Events Calendar not working as you would expect to with your theme.
I would love to help you with this topic. The standard theme as is only lets people register via a contact form, hence why I’ve bought Events Ticket Pro and Installed Events Ticket and Events Calendar.
This is probably achieved through a template customization, since we normally do not integrate a contact form in our process.
If you want to solve that specific issue, you would have to see with the theme author.I can, however, help you bypass that process and remove the customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme in a .zip file link in a private reply (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Best regards,

MemberGood evening Melinda,
Thank you for the files.
I tried a couple of things and the issue lies in the single-event.php files and the meta.php files found int the /tribe-events/ folder in your theme .
Short term, your simplest solution (which changes the look, but works) is to rename the /tribe-events/ folder in your theme to /z_tribe-events/.
That way your tickets will display and you will bypass the registration form integrated by your theme.
Your other solution would be to do a file compare of each file in that customization against the default views and tweak them.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
