ParticipantGreat Saturday Team,
My calendar is not showing the Location Search option for users. How can we correct this?
Actions I’ve taken:
– Toggled “Hide Location Search” under Event Settings->Display tab– Tested for conflicts using Twenty Sixteen theme – screenshot attached. Followed procedures outlined here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?source=tri.be&q=/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/

That is odd. I’m sorry this is happening to you.
Were your screenshots with your current theme?
Do you have the search location feature set that we should see it?
And finally, have you checked for plugin conflicts (Testing for Conflicts)?

Can you check if the ‘Disable the Event Search Bar’ is active? Event » Settings » Display. You’ll want this off to see location search options.

This is my 2nd reply to your “help” that I feel I’ve addressed and mentioned in my initial message to you and the support forum.
I try to do as much as possible on my own as it’s faster than spending time posting here and getting a resolution after X number of days/weeks.
No, that is not the issue – that setting is OFF.
I have gone through your Forum, followed your tutorial on “Conflicts” and sent you screenshots of the issue using a default theme, in my first support post.
Please pass my issue on to Victor on your Support team to assist me.

I reviewed your system info settings and it indicates that your “Disable the Event Search Bar” is active in Event » Settings » Display.
It should be unchecked to see the location search options.

Can you send me a screenshot of this exact location? If it is deactive but your system info indicates that it is active, then that would be another issue.
