ParticipantIn the section “Linking to the Tickets Form” at the bottom of this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-tickets/, it says:
Event Tickets Plus has a built in anchor link so that you can link users directly to the ticket sales form…No, it has not. I even searched the html code of the page I’m using the form on, and the anchor #buy-tickets is simply not present.
It’s not important, I can add an anchor myself… but this passage of text should probably be deleted from the knowledgebase.

MemberHi there Johan,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Interesting finds, thanks for the constructive feedback!
On the missing ‘Help’ menu item you mention this is a known bug, and the fix for it should be included in upcoming feature release 4.4 which will be out soon.
Regarding the ‘#buy-tickets’ anchor, I’m seeing it on my local test site when I add RSVP and/or WooCommerce tickets to events. Can you please let me know which type of tickets you are creating? If you switch to a default theme like Twenty Sixteen do you notice any difference? Finally, if possible, please send me a URL where I can see this.
Thanks,

Maybe the ‘#buy-tickets’ anchor on your test site is added by some other Tribe plugin than “Event Tickets Plus”?
At the moment I can’t switch themes – too much functionality is still in functions.php and haven’t been moved to a plugin yet. But my theme is built on the Underscores (_s) theme, so it is unlikely the theme is the problem. Here’s the URL: http://uppsalamagicandcomedy.se/magikongress/

MemberThanks for following up Johan!
I could just reproduce this issue, it happens when tickets are added to pages and not to events. If you would like I can try to write a snippet to extend this to pages as well. I’ll also make a note to review the copy in the Knowledge base article to reflect this.
Please let me know if you want me to give that snippet a try,

ParticipantNo need to make a snippet for my sake. Thanks for the offer though. 🙂
However, making sure the docs and the reality is in agreement is a good thing. Saves time! Either mention that the anchor isn’t present in the stand-alone version. Or add it in a future update.Thanks.

As you say it’s super important to be consistent about the information we provide. Sorry for the hassle on this one! I just sent a report to our community team to review this and add a comment or ticket the feature.
I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.
