I opened a thread a couple days ago with this problem, thought I had figured it out, and the thread was closed. Here I am again.
It appears that I disabled the pro version, and I got free version working, but now that I’ve reactivated the pro plugin, the problem has returned. My original post below:
I’ve found the other forum posts that address this issue, but haven’t found anything that’s worked yet.
The Next Events/Previous Events buttons just reload the page with no change. I’ve removed the instance where my my theme is loading jquery, I’ve followed the instructions on including the WP body class to the <body> tag, and I’ve tried adding the fix from https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/8689212 to my functions file…
What am I missing here?

I’m sorry to hear that your other thread was closed prematurely – can you share a link to this thread so we can see what happened there?
As for your issues, I’m curious about all these theme-related customizations you’ve made. Before we delve too deeply into your issues, could you first run through the complete set of troubleshooting steps outlined here? → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Check on your prev and next links after each step in that process, and note what you find.

GeorgeMore problems… I can’t access my account now, it says my email doesn’t exist, and I made changes to the WP header.php file, and the changes aren’t being reflected on the Events page.
Also the plugin has hijacked my CSS and broken the responsive layout on the Events page… somewhere, can’t figure out where. It would be really nice to speak to someone on the phone, or get a refund. There’s no real contact information on your website.
I’m not using any plugins except for Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.

I’m sorry for your frustrations here. I checked out your site and it seems the responsive layout is working now, but I’m curious about the source of all these problems. It seems based on your comments about editing things like your theme’s header.php file that it is your currently-active custom theme that is the source of your problems.
Where do things currently stand with your problems? Your events page “Previous” and “Next” links seem to be working well for me – what problems remain? If you were able to fix everything on your own, what things did you do to fix all this?
