need help with calendar

    Hi – I am having problems with my event calendar. I use to be able to create an event that repeated itself weekly, However, now if I put in an event example : Womens Bible Study – I can select the “start date & time”, “end date & time”, then the “reoccurance” I can select as well for “weekly” – HOWEVER when I do this usually a tab in the past would pop up saying “it will end” and I would select “never” but there is no such thing now, its as if it disappeared. When I go to “publish” i keep getting a message saying “you must select a recurrence end date” – I need to be able to set up events that reoccur weekly – please let me know why its all of a sudden doing this.

    Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you out on this!

    As you point out, the recurrence settings changed a bit in our latest update. This has been done to support more flexible recurrence settings. What you look for is of course still possible, you should select ‘Never’ from the dropdown after ‘and will end’. Take a look: https://cloudup.com/cvrvgLSBktB

    Hi Nico, I understand what you’re saying but actually that is my problem. I no longer have that drop down available where I usually would be able to select “never” – I don’t know where this drop down went, but because it is missing it seems now I am not able to publish the event as reoccurring.

    Hey Joseph,

    Thanks for clarifying this! Well that’s really strange…

    I guess it’s possible this is caused by a JavaScript error in the site. Could you look for any errors in the browser console?

    Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
